We’re honored to be curating your upcoming journey with Ember & Co. (formerly LuxNomad Travels). While every detail has been thoughtfully arranged, travel, by nature, involves elements beyond our direct control. Before finalizing your trip, please review and acknowledge the following:

Assumption of Risk & Nature of Travel

I understand that travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical activity, varying levels of infrastructure, changing environments, and unexpected delays. I acknowledge that bespoke travel often involves remote or international locations where standards of safety and medical care may differ from my home country. I voluntarily accept all risks associated with this experience.

Health, Safety & Personal Medical Responsibility

I confirm that I am in good physical and mental health to participate in this journey. I am responsible for managing my own medical needs, including carrying necessary medications. I understand that Ember & Co. is not a medical provider and that access to healthcare during travel is subject to local availability.

Mandatory Travel Insurance Recommendation I have been strongly advised to secure comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, cancellations, and lost or damaged items. I understand that Ember & Co. is not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages resulting from my failure to secure adequate insurance.

Comprehensive Liability Release I release LuxNomad Travels, LLC (DBA Ember & Co.), its owners, team members, and partners from any and all liability for accidents, injuries, illnesses, property damage, or financial loss arising from the journey. This includes disruptions caused by weather, civil unrest, strikes, government restrictions, or any other "Force Majeure" events beyond the Agency's control.

Third-Party Provider Acknowledgment I understand that Ember & Co. acts solely as a curator and facilitator. All on-ground services—including but not limited to hotels, transportation companies, and local guides—are independent contractors and are not employees or agents of Ember & Co. Consequently, Ember & Co. is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, or negligence of these third-party providers.

Accommodations & Rooming Room arrangements are confirmed based on the specific occupancy and category outlined in my final proposal. I acknowledge that any changes requested after booking are subject to vendor availability and may result in additional fees.

Emergency Contact & Communication I agree to provide accurate emergency contact details and remain reachable via the contact methods provided throughout the planning process and the duration of the trip.

Guest Accountability & Cultural Mindfulness

To protect our global partnerships and the communities we visit, I agree to:

Conduct yourself with respect and mindfulness toward local guides, hotel staff, and the community at large.

Abide by all local laws and safety regulations of the destination.

Maintain full responsibility for your own belongings, individual choices, and overall conduct throughout the journey.

Respect the trust we have built with our local partners; any conduct that significantly compromises these professional relationships or violates local law is the sole responsibility of the traveler.

Individual & Minor Acknowledgment

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have reviewed the itinerary and agree to the terms of this journey. I understand that I am responsible for my own conduct, health, and adherence to all travel requirements.

Liability Release: I voluntarily agree to release Ember & Co. from any liability for events beyond their control, including but not limited to third-party vendor services, travel delays, or unforeseen circumstances.

Minors: If I am traveling with a minor, I accept full responsibility for their safety, behavior, and participation throughout the trip.
