Itinerary
Day 1: A Warm Balinese Welcome
Your journey commences as you touch down on the enchanting island of Bali. Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), our dedicated travel assistant, along with your friendly driver, will be there to extend a warm Balinese welcome.
You’ll then be escorted to your luxurious 5-star accommodations, where you can refresh and unwind in the lap of tropical luxury, embracing the lush beauty and tranquil ambiance that surrounds you. As the day turns to night, we invite you to join us for a memorable welcome dinner featuring a traditional Balinese BBQ. Immerse yourself in the rich flavors and vibrant culture of Bali as you embark on this extraordinary adventure.
Day 2: Bali's Natural Treasures and Urban Retreat
Start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading to a picturesque rice terrace, where you can observe the intricate farming practices that have shaped Bali’s iconic landscape for centuries. Next, visit a local coffee farm to learn about Bali’s rich coffee culture, see the production process, and sample some of the island’s famous blends.
Afterwards, enjoy a delightful lunch at one of Bali’s renowned day clubs, soaking in the tropical ambiance and energy of the island. In the afternoon, continue exploring with a visit to a breathtaking waterfall and the Monkey Forest, a sanctuary where playful macaques roam freely.
As the day winds down, the evening is free to explore Ubud at your own pace, enjoy dinner, or simply relax in the town’s enchanting atmosphere.
Day 3: Bali's Adventure Extravaganza
Today is all about the thrill of adventure in Bali. Your heart-pounding day begins with an exciting ATV ride, leading you through the island’s lush landscapes and off-the-beaten paths.
Following your exhilarating ride, you’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch on the picturesque Ayung River. Then, gear up for an adrenaline-pumping white water rafting experience, conquering the river’s rapids as you immerse yourself in Bali’s unspoiled natural beauty. It’s a day of action and awe in the heart of this remarkable island.
Day 4: Ubud's Farewell and the Journey to Canggu
Start your day in Ubud with a delightful breakfast, enjoying the vibrant flavors that have defined your stay in this cultural gem. After breakfast, you’ll check out of the hotel and head directly to a hands-on cooking class, where you’ll dive into the art of Balinese cuisine. Learn to prepare a traditional 3 to 4-course meal and discover the rich culinary heritage of the island.
Following the cooking class, there may be time to explore Ubud’s charming streets or shop for souvenirs before we embark on our journey to Canggu. A new and exciting chapter of your Bali adventure awaits in this trendy coastal town.
Day 5: Canggu Culture & Leisure
Start the day with a Canang Sari Workshop in Canggu, where guests can learn to make traditional Balinese offerings using fresh flowers and natural materials, while understanding their spiritual significance in daily Hindu rituals. It’s a peaceful and creative way to connect with local culture in a serene setting.
After the workshop, the remainder of the day is free for guests to explore Canggu at their leisure — shop, visit a spa, enjoy a coffee, or simply soak in the relaxed coastal vibe. Dinner is at guests’ own pace, allowing for a flexible and enjoyable evening.
Day 6: Beachside Bliss and Arrival at Nusa Dua
Today is all about embracing Bali’s coastal beauty and taking time to relax and reset. We’ll visit one of Uluwatu’s best beach clubs, where guests can unwind in style, soak up the sun, and enjoy the breathtaking ocean views. Optional water activities are available, from paddleboarding to swimming or snorkeling, letting everyone tailor the experience to their energy and mood.
Lunch will be served right on the beach, adding to the serene and scenic experience. After a day of coastal relaxation, guests will check in to our Nusa Dua waterfront favorite, where the evening is free to settle in, enjoy the surroundings, and explore at leisure.
Day 7: Your Bali Adventure, Your Way
Your final full day in Bali is all about indulging in relaxation and personal choice. Start the day with a leisurely breakfast at one of the finest 5-star hotels on the island, where the serene setting of Nusa Dua provides the perfect backdrop for a day of unwinding.
We encourage you to take full advantage of the hotel’s world-class amenities: lounge by the pool, treat yourself to a rejuvenating spa session, or simply enjoy the beachfront tranquility. If you’re seeking more adventure, optional excursions are available to enhance your experience further.
In the evening, we’ll gather for an unforgettable 5-star farewell dinner at Bali’s most unique underwater dining destination. It’s the perfect way to reflect on your journey and celebrate the memories made during this incredible adventure.
Day 8: Farewell to Bali
Your final day in Bali begins with a leisurely breakfast, allowing you to savor the last moments of your island getaway.
The timing of your transfer to the airport will be coordinated according to your flight schedule. As you journey back to the airport, you can reflect on the incredible memories and experiences you’ve collected during your time in Bali. What’s the pace of the trip?
We want to ensure every guest has a memorable and safe experience during our Bali trip. The journey is moderately active, with participants needing to be comfortable walking up to 5 miles per day, including outdoor steps and uneven surfaces. Most days are relaxed, but there are two more active days, such as our adventure and water activity day, which require additional physical engagement. Comfortable footwear is recommended.
While we offer a range of activities and excursions, participation is optional. Please note that non-participation in certain activities, particularly water sports or special arrangements, does not warrant a refund. We encourage guests to participate according to their comfort level and physical condition. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding.
What accommodations are included?
We stay in 4 to 5-star hotels throughout our stay in Ubud, Canggu, and Nusa Dua. Room layouts and amenities may vary, but each stay is selected to create a memorable experience. Double and single occupancy options are available. Solo travelers choosing double occupancy will be paired based on preferences; if unmatched 90 days prior, the single occupancy supplement will apply. Traveling with a friend? Let us know at registration so you can room together.
Male travelers: We welcome both men and women on our trips. That said, due to the typical guest makeup, groups often have a higher ratio of female travelers. Solo male guests are required to book a single occupancy package to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone, while male travelers with a friend are welcome to select double occupancy.
How is transport arranged?
All local transportation for activities and planned excursions is provided. Airport transfers to and from the hotel are also included when arriving and departing within the recommended time frame. Full transfer details and coordination information will be shared after booking confirmation.
What meals are included?
Your culinary journey in Bali is a central part of your experience, and we’re thrilled to include the majority of your meals (8 breakfasts, 4 lunches, and 2 dinners) along with water. To ensure everyone’s preferences are respected, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are not included in our meal offerings and are considered the responsibility of each guest. This approach allows us to cater to a diverse range of tastes and ensures that your Bali trip is as inclusive and enjoyable as possible.
What travel documents or visas are required?
Passport
Guests are required to hold a passport for all international trips with at least six months of validity from the last day of the trip. The airlines may deny travel, and the passport officials may refuse entry if you try to travel with a passport that expires in under six months. LNT will make every effort to verify passport validity; however, this is the responsibility of the guest.
Visa
This destination does require a 30-day tourist visa for US residents for a fee of $35 USD. This visa can be obtained online or on arrival at the Bali airport. For residents outside of the United States, please check with your local government to verify what is required.
COVID-19 Test & Vaccinations
Currently, this country does not require negative COVID-19 test results or vaccination proof to enter. We advise all our guests to consult with their healthcare provider for any additional vaccination requirements that are specific to their individual health and medical history. Your well-being is our priority, and these precautions will help ensure a safe and healthy journey.
Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is not included, but we strongly recommend it, particularly “cancel for any reason” coverage. This helps protect against unexpected medical or family emergencies and allows recovery of non-refundable trip expenses. We partner with Faye Travel Insurance to provide our guests with trusted options and guidance for securing the coverage that best fits your needs.
What airports should I fly into?
Airfare is not included in this trip. All guests will arrange their own flights to and from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Bali, Indonesia. We kindly ask that you hold off on booking your flights until our team provides the official travel window. Further flight details, including recommended arrival and departure times, will be shared after booking confirmation.
Are there pre-trip meetings or resources?
How do trip payments work?
Each trip offers a unique payment option. You can choose to pay for your trip in full, secure your spot with a down payment, then set up a monthly plan. Monthly payments will be automatically drafted every 30 days from the date of your registration until the trip is fully paid.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
Guests have 24 hours from booking to cancel for a full refund. After that, deposits are non-refundable. For complete details, including special promotions and exceptions, please review our Group Trips Terms & Booking Conditions. We also recommend travel insurance for added protection.
Are tips included?
Tips are not included in your trip price. We recommend budgeting around $100–$150 USD for local staff and service teams who help make your experience seamless and memorable. Your trip host will collect tips at the end of the journey to ensure proper distribution. PLEASE NOTE: our trips are designed with a focus on respect and gratitude for the people who make your experience possible. If tipping or showing appreciation for service is a concern, this may not be the right experience for you.
What if I have special needs or mobility concerns?
This trip involves walking several miles on some days, uneven terrain, water activities, and long drives within Bali, so it’s important to review the full itinerary carefully to determine if you are physically able to participate. At this time, we are not equipped to provide hands-on support for guests with special medical or mobility needs.
Please note that medical facilities abroad may not meet the same standards as those in your home country, and travel in remote areas may involve risk of injury, sickness, or other dangers. We encourage all guests to assess their health and fitness in advance and secure appropriate travel insurance.
Who typically joins these trips?
While any traveler 21 and older can join our trips, most participants are typically between 30 and 60 years old. Age is just a number; what matters most is being comfortable with the trip’s pace and activities. It’s important to review the itinerary and make sure the experience matches your mobility and comfort level. Solo travelers, couples, friends, and even family members join our trips, creating a diverse and welcoming group dynamic that adds to the richness of the experience.
