Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Napa Valley!
Guests arrive into San Francisco International Airport (SFO), where the group gathers before a private transfer into Napa Valley. The drive sets the pace, ease into wine country, let the city fade, and settle into the slower rhythm of the weekend.
After check-in and time to refresh, we come together for a welcome dinner designed to feel relaxed and unforced. Think good food, flowing wine, and an easy atmosphere that invites conversation. A laid-back welcome dinner with comforting food, wine, and easy conversation as everyone settles in and gets acquainted.
No agenda. No pressure. Just presence, warmth, and a beautiful beginning.
Day 2: Wine Country Classics
The day begins at an iconic hilltop estate known for its old-world architecture and sweeping vineyard views. We’ll explore the grounds, learn about the winemaking process, and enjoy guided tastings of thoughtfully crafted wines. This first stop sets a refined tone, unrushed, immersive, and unmistakably Napa.
Midday brings a reset with a casual lunch stop loved by locals. Comfort food, laid-back seating, and easy conversation offer a welcome balance before returning to wine country elegance in the afternoon.
Our final tasting takes place at a modern winery set against rolling hills, where bold design meets panoramic views and beautifully balanced wines. Expect a full day of generous pours, contrasting atmospheres, and moments that linger long after the last glass.
Day 3: A Slow Ride Through Wine Country
We board the Napa Valley Wine Train for a leisurely ride through the heart of wine country. As the scenery rolls by, guests enjoy a multi-course meal paired with wines that complement each course. The pace is slow and indulgent, with white tablecloths, attentive service, and long stretches of vineyard views that invite you to sit back and savor.
The evening is left open to explore at your own rhythm. Wander through town, browse local shops, enjoy an impromptu tasting, or settle into a cozy wine bar for one last glass. No plans, no schedule, just time to follow whatever feels right before the weekend comes to a close.
Day 4: Farewell!
All good things come to a close, but the connections made here carry on. Guests will be transferred to San Francisco International Airport (SFO), where it’s time to share safe travels with new Ember & Co friends and say goodbye to Napa Valley—until we meet again.

Your trip host will collect tips at the end of the journey to ensure proper distribution. PLEASE NOTE: our trips are designed with a focus on respect and gratitude for the people who make your experience possible. If tipping or showing appreciation for service is a concern, this may not be the right experience for you.
What if I have special needs or mobility concerns?
This trip involves walking, standing during wine tastings, stairs at some wineries, and navigating uneven terrain in vineyards and outdoor settings. While the pace is relaxed, guests should be comfortable with light to moderate physical activity throughout the day. We are not able to provide hands-on medical or mobility assistance, so guests should carefully review the itinerary and assess their comfort level in advance. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Is this a party-style wine tour?
This weekend is designed to be fun, social, and celebratory, with the ease and energy of a girls’ getaway. While it’s not a party bus or nightlife-focused experience, there’s plenty of laughter, great wine, and shared moments woven throughout the day. The pace is intentional so everyone can enjoy the wine, the scenery, and each other without feeling rushed.
Who typically joins these trips?
Unlike our international experiences, this Napa Valley weekend is intentionally designed as a women-only getaway. The setting allows for ease, open conversation, and a shared sense of comfort that naturally unfolds in an all-women group. Guests must be 21 and older, with most participants typically between 30 and 60 years old. Many women join solo, while others come with friends, and the pace and activities are best suited for those comfortable with a relaxed, social weekend centered on wine, dining, and connection.
What is the group size?
This experience is intentionally kept intimate, with a small group of women traveling together. A smaller group allows for smoother logistics, more personal hosting, and a relaxed, connected atmosphere throughout the weekend—especially during tastings, meals, and shared experiences.
Is this trip right for me?
This weekend is best suited for women who enjoy wine, shared meals, and a social but unhurried pace. While the itinerary is thoughtfully planned, there is free time built in, including open evenings, so guests are welcome to explore Napa, enjoy nightlife, or relax as they choose. This may not be the best fit for travelers looking for a fully independent, self-guided experience or those seeking a fast-paced, party-only itinerary.
What additional spending should I plan for?
Guests should plan for gratuities, personal shopping, optional drinks beyond what’s included, and any activities or dining chosen during free time. While spending varies by preference, many guests find that budgeting a few hundred dollars for personal expenses allows for flexibility and ease throughout the weekend.
