If you are traveling with us solo and elect for double occupancy, you will be paired with another LuxNomad Travels member based on your preferences. You will be matched with a roommate once you have paid more than 50% of the trip balance and will then be provided the contact information of the person you will be matched with.

Please Note: that if 90 days before your trip, you do not have a roommate, you will be required to pay the single occupancy supplement. Payment of the single occupancy supplement can be paid in even payments and due within 45 days of departure.

Male Travelers

We’re proud to welcome both men and women on our trips. However, due to the typical guest makeup, our groups often have a higher ratio of female travelers. If you’re a male guest traveling solo, you’ll be required to book a single occupancy package to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for everyone. If you're traveling with a friend and wish to room together, double occupancy is absolutely welcome, just be sure to indicate this in your registration.

We are excited that you have chosen Ember & Co. (operating as a DBA) for your upcoming Thailand experience. This itinerary has been thoughtfully designed to balance cultural experiences, leisure, and guided activities across Bangkok and Phuket.

Please review the full itinerary carefully prior to completing your registration. While every effort is made to create a safe, well-organized experience, travel involves inherent risks, and unforeseen circumstances may occur.

By registering for this trip, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk
I understand that travel and group experiences may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to walking in urban environments, heat exposure, transportation by air or road, participation in cultural activities, and visits to animal sanctuaries. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for my participation in all activities.

Activities & Physical Considerations
I confirm that I am physically and mentally able to participate in the itinerary as outlined, including walking tours, market visits, and optional activities. I understand that some days may involve extended periods outdoors and on foot, and I may choose to opt out of any activity at my discretion.

Elephant Sanctuary Experience
I acknowledge that visiting an ethical elephant sanctuary involves proximity to animals and natural environments. I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by guides and understand that Ember & Co. is not responsible for incidents arising from failure to follow these guidelines.

Domestic Air Travel & Baggage Policy
This trip includes one domestic flight from Bangkok to Phuket, with a baggage allowance of 20 kg of checked luggage and 7 kg of carry-on per guest. I understand that any excess baggage fees or airline-imposed charges are my personal responsibility and must be paid directly to the airline.

Third-Party Vendors
I understand that accommodations, transportation providers, airlines, and activity operators are independent third parties. Ember & Co. acts solely as a coordinator and is not liable for delays, cancellations, injuries, losses, or changes caused by these providers.

Travel Insurance
I acknowledge that travel insurance is strongly recommended and that I am responsible for securing appropriate coverage for medical expenses, trip interruption, cancellation, or loss of personal belongings.

Release of Liability
In consideration of Ember & Co. arranging this travel experience, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Ember & Co., its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from injury, illness, loss, delay, or damages during the trip.
